Recap – Aloha at 29 Pines
April 11-12, 2026 | Henderson, TX | North+South Conference
The Texas Interscholastic Cycling League headed to 29 Pines in a last-minute pivot to outrun Mother Nature — and it was absolutely worth it. The course is arguably one of the most fun in the state, with flow for days.

Pre-Rides
With heavy rainfall predicted for Sunday, the league made an unprecedented call to move racing to Saturday. That meant Friday setup kicked off early so the venue and course could open for pre-rides from 5–7 p.m. — and the crew, with a huge assist from local teams, pulled it off beautifully. The party had officially started!
Most teams and families rolled in Saturday morning to pre-ride and take in the shenanigans, including our Adventure Challenge. Did YOU get a photo with a dog this weekend?

Saturday
The competition was the closest we’ve seen all season, with countless sprint finishes and not one but TWO photo finishes. The course was a fast 5-mile lap featuring over 200 berms — so much flow that you could ride the whole thing without ever touching your brakes. Fast and fun doesn’t even begin to cover it. Want to experience it on a non-NICA weekend? Check out the 29 Pines website.
