Are you ready to gear up for the most epic biking adventure of the season? Introducing the TX NICA Adventure Challenge—a four-month journey packed with thrills, skills, and a whole lot of fun both on and off the bike!

This isn’t just about racing or riding; it’s about pushing your limits, exploring new trails, and discovering what makes mountain biking so amazing. Whether you’re teaching a buddy how to shred a corner, riding a trail under the glow of the setting sun, or dressing your bike in its silliest outfit, this challenge is your chance to embrace the full spirit of adventure.

Here’s the deal: We’ll have dozens of exciting tasks for you to complete. Keep an eye on the app as we will release new tasks each week. Earn 1000 points by the end of the season, and you’ll earn the ultimate prize—a TX NICA Adventure Challenge Winners Jersey. That’s right, wear it with pride, knowing you conquered every climb, every challenge, and every laugh along the way!

Join the Experience

Once in the app, choose to play as a guest, create an account, or log in.

Next, search for the TX NICA Adventure Challenge or enter the unique join code: 8PRW1S.
The password is TX Adventure.
Join the TX NICA Adventure team, and away you go!

Complete Missions

To earn points, complete Missions from the list. Mission types include photos, videos, checking in at specific locations, or answering questions and riddles.

Missions need to be completed during the challenge’s time frame – December 15, 2024-April 30,2025.

The Experience creator can review all submissions and award bonus points, so put your best feathers forward!

Scope out the live leaderboard to see how the Experience is progressing. You can pull inspiration from what others are doing, or give big thumbs up to the submissions you think are awesome.

The fine print

Only current registered TX NICA students and coaches are eligible to participate. All student-athletes registered with the TX NICA league are eligible to participate in the challenge and win the challenge jersey. Licensed TX NICA coaches can also participate.

Should you choose to complete missions outside of your NICA team practice or a NICA event such as a race or clinic, you will receive challenge points, but the activity will not be considered a sanctioned NICA activity and will not be covered under NICA insurance.

If coaches complete the challenge and would like a jersey, they can purchase one for $20. Participants in the challenge agree to follow the NICA agreements signed during NICA registration at all times while completing the TX NICA Adventure Challenge. As part of the registration process, registered participants entered into the following agreements:

  • NICA Participation Agreement;
  • Waiver & Release of Liability Agreement;
  • Medical Disclosure and Consent Agreement;
  • Media, Photo, Data and Safety Study Release Agreement;
  • Code of Conduct Agreement
