Saturday

Reveille Peak Ranch is one of our most loved race venues. There is enough climbing and tech to satisfy the most elite athlete while being built in a way that is approachable for newer riders. There are acres upon acres to explore with classic hill country views and the best part is that there’s no such thing as too much rain for RPR!

GRiT

Saturday marked IMBA’s International Women’s Mountain Biking Day, and Texas NICA GRiT rose to the occasion with an ambitious goal: to gather more girls on bikes at one time than any previous NICA event.

We’re proud to share that we succeeded—this was our largest GRiT ride to date. More than 120 women and girls came together to celebrate mountain biking and the growing community of female riders within our league. Among the many highlights was a special appearance by Ana Voss from Women Empowerment Cycling, who joined us for the ride and celebration.

The Golden Spoon

The golden spoon is awarded to the teams with the BEST Saturday camp site deserts!

The South Metro Cyclones took home the Golden Spoon for the North with their dark chocolate peanut butter amazeballs.
Lake Travis took home the Golden Spoon for the South with their student-decorated camp fire s’mores cake!
