If you’re missing Saturday’s, you’re missing out!
Pre-rides give coaches and student-athletes a preview of the course, while activities throughout the day keep families entertained.
At the GRiT tent, students were busy making beaded bracelets and doing a little face painting. GRiT activities were followed by the popular ladies-only GRiT Ride!
Coaches Costume Race
Next up was the first ever COACHES COSTUME RACE, organized by the minions (aka, the Student Advisory Cabinet) and Gru (errr…JJ).
We’re not sure we’ve EVER seen so many spectators and so much NOISE for a single race. The students SHOWED UP to support and cheer on their coaches and it was epic.
Sure there were podiums, but at the end of the day….we were all winners here.
Golden Spoon

It’s our prize for the best Saturday night camp site dessert!
Congrats to the Austin High Maroons (South) coming in hot with their chocolate chocolate chip caramel sea salt cookie and to Rose City Cycling (North) for their lemon dipped donut.
Special shout out to the runner ups… That brown butter rice krispie from @thawkracing was a super close second and that taco from @etx_piney_woods_composite made us realize we may need a taco competition at state champs!
